Terms of Use

1. Scope and operator

These terms govern the use of the MerrVetura platform at merrvetura.com. The operator is Berat Murati, reachable at info@merrvetura.com. Full provider details are in the Imprint.

By registering or using the platform you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What MerrVetura is — and is not

MerrVetura is an electronic marketplace. Private sellers and dealers publish listings; buyers search, compare and make contact directly. An integrated messaging feature supports this.

MerrVetura acts solely as an intermediary and does not become a party to sale contracts between users. Every sale contract is concluded directly between seller and buyer. We give no warranty as to the accuracy of listing content, the condition of a vehicle, title to it, or how a transaction unfolds.

3. Registration and account

Publishing listings and sending messages require an account. You register with an email address or a Google account. You undertake:

  • to be at least 18 years old;
  • to give accurate details when registering;
  • to keep your credentials confidential;
  • to tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Every account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms. You can delete your own account at any time in your profile.

4. Listing rules

  • Entitlement: list only vehicles you own or for which you have the owner’s express permission.
  • Accuracy: price, year, mileage, condition, customs status and documents must be correct. Misleading statements are prohibited.
  • No duplicates: one vehicle, one listing.
  • Photos and videos: must be current and show the vehicle actually offered. Promotional material or images taken from the internet are not permitted.
  • Price: the price shown is the price you actually ask. Commercial sellers state whether it includes VAT.

We may moderate, amend or remove listings that breach these rules. You can challenge any moderation decision by email; we will review it again and explain our answer.

5. Rights in your content

Your photos, videos and texts remain yours. We acquire no ownership in them.

So that we can display your listing at all, you grant us a simple, royalty-free permission, revocable at any time, to store this content, process it technically — in particular to resize, crop and convert it — and make it publicly available. This permission covers only the operation and presentation of the platform, including preview images, search results and share graphics for a listing. It ends when you delete the content; technical backup copies persist briefly afterwards.

By uploading you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and that any people shown have agreed. Using other people’s photos, texts, logos or trade marks without permission breaches the Law on Copyright and Related Rights (Law No. 08/L-205) and may lead to your account being suspended.

6. Reporting and removing unlawful content

We do not screen listings for legal violations in advance — nor are we obliged to under Article 28 of Law 04/L-094. But once we learn of unlawful content, we act.

How to report: through the report function on the listing, or by email to info@merrvetura.com. Please name the listing concerned, what the violation consists of and — for alleged infringements of rights — what your right is based on.

What happens next: we review every report without delay. If content is manifestly unlawful we block it immediately. In all other cases we decide after review and tell you the outcome. Whoever posted the content is informed of the block and may contest it; we then review again.

False reports: anyone who knowingly or with gross negligence reports lawful content as unlawful is liable for the resulting damage under Article 27 of Law 04/L-094.

7. Fees

Private sellers list free of charge, up to 3 active listings at a time.

Dealers currently use the platform free of charge as well; basic access includes up to 30 active listings.

We may introduce paid features in future, such as increased visibility, premium listings or extended dealer functions. We announce any change to the pricing model at least 30 days in advance. Existing free listings are unaffected.

Before any paid service starts you receive the pre-contractual information required by Article 39 of Law 06/L-034. Consumers — everyone not acting in a commercial capacity — may withdraw from a paid contract within 14 days without giving reasons, under Article 42 of the same law. You receive the full withdrawal notice before the purchase, not after it.

8. Reviews

Buyers can review dealers. The following rules apply:

  • only someone who has demonstrably had contact with that dealer through the platform may leave a review;
  • one review per user per dealer, which can be edited;
  • reviews must rest on an actual experience and must not contain insulting, defamatory or untrue content;
  • the reviewed dealer may reply publicly;
  • we may hide or delete reviews that breach these principles;
  • fake or coordinated reviews are a serious breach and lead to account suspension.

You can change or delete your own review at any time. Anyone who believes a review of them is unjustified reports it under the procedure in §6.

9. Liability

MerrVetura is not liable for:

  • the accuracy, completeness or truthfulness of listing content;
  • the condition, ownership or history of the vehicles offered;
  • damage or disputes arising from dealings between buyers and sellers;
  • the conduct of other users;
  • interruptions due to technical reasons, maintenance or force majeure.

For intent and gross negligence we are liable under the applicable statutory rules; mandatory liability under consumer protection law is unaffected.

Always inspect a vehicle yourself before buying: its condition, papers and ownership. Bring an independent expert and view the vehicle in person. Note also that for registration in Kosovo a sale contract must be certified by a notary or a court.

10. Availability

We aim for uninterrupted operation but owe no particular level of availability. We announce planned maintenance in advance.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Changes are published here with the date of revision. For material changes we inform you at least 14 days before they take effect, by email or within the platform. If you continue using the platform afterwards, the new terms are deemed accepted.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

The law of the Republic of Kosovo applies; jurisdiction is Prishtina. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you are habitually resident remain unaffected.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder stays in force.
