The first price decides almost everything. An overpriced car sits, goes stale in the listings and finally sells below what a fair opening price would have earned.
- Start with the free valuation: it gives the median of comparable cars in the Kosovo market, by model, year and mileage.
- Adjust for condition: service history, no accidents, one owner lift it. Rust, old tyres and faults lower it.
- Check what others ask for the same car — and how long those listings have been sitting.
- Pick a round number just under a psychological line: 9,900 draws more clicks than 10,100.
- Give yourself a deadline: if two weeks bring no serious enquiry, the price is too high — not the market.
Do not start high "to leave room". Buyers filter by price; above their limit you are not seen at all and negotiate with nobody.
